Pepe Habichuela

Pepe Habichuela (Granada, 1944), ambassador of Flamenco On Fire, has been an active participant in a golden era of flamenco. He accompanied Enrique Morente on such emblematic albums as the 'Homenaje a Antonio Chacón' and 'Despegando', even appearing on the cover of both. Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, he brought the people of Granada to Madrid, where he lives, to the hands of his brother Juan Habichuela. He has also recorded solo for the label Nuevos Medios and was a cornerstone for the appearance of Ketama, the group of his son, Josemi Carmona, and his nephews.
