GREAT CONCERTS
The ‘Great Concerts’ cycle gathers every year the greatest figures of flamenco - both well-established and emerging artists - as well as Flamenco on Fire’s own productions. This year, the concert cycle and the 11th edition will start on August 23rd in the town of Viana, featuring the artist Jesús Méndez, from Jerez, at the Ruins of San Pedro (9 PM), together with the dancer Antonio Molina “El Choro” as a guest artist. On Saturday, August 24th, at the Gaztambide Theater in Tudela, it will be the turn of the dancer José Maya (9 PM). The cycle will also travel to Pamplona/Iruña and stop at the Baluarte Auditorium with four proposals: The Flamenco Ballet of Andalusia on August 29th at 8:30 PM. Israel Fernández performing a singing recital on August 30th at 9:30 PM.
A new production of Flamenco on Fire, the second part of the one offered in 2023, Alzapúa II, on August 31st at 9:30 PM, featuring the guitars of Josemi Carmona, Diego del Morao, Ricardo Moreno, and Dani de Morón, a unique encounter; this year, the encounter will also include guest artists such as the dancer Farruquito, and the singers Lela Soto and Delia Membrive. The cycle will be closed by Manuela Carrasco, the dancer from Triana, with a flourish, on September 1st at 8:30 PM - this performance coinciding in time with her farewell tour -. She will be joined by guest artists as Remedios Amaya and Anabel Valencia, and a special collaboration from Manuela Carrasco hija.
