Ángel Ocray and Luis Sánchez

They say that “the land gives the song”. That is why Ángel Ocray, from Pamplona, has a particular way of “savouring” music, linked to the singer-songwriter tradition. He began his solo career by winning the singer-songwriter category at the Encounters of Young Artists of Navarra in 2003. It has been a long time since then, and now he is immersed in his third album. He composes, of course, and also dissects the lyrics with sensitivity: “Sintiendo el alma” (Feeling the soul) and “Enrédame en tus sueños” (Entangling in your dreams) are proof of that. However, Ocray will not perform alone on the balcony of the Viana City Hall. His voice will be joined by the sound of Luis Sánchez.
