José Fermín Fernández

José Fermín Fernández is a young guitarist hailing from the town of Iznalloz in the province of Granada. Born into a family of flamenco artists, he began to play the guitar as an autodidact. Over time, the tablaos (flamenco stages) and flamenco caves of Granada became his university, providing him with the necessary skills to accompany both singing and dancing. However, it was the year 2019 that marked a turning point in his career when he won first prize in two of the foremost international guitar competitions: the Bordón Minero at the Festival de las Minas de la Unión and the National Flamenco Art Contest of Córdoba. Since that moment, he has regularly accompanied renowned artists such as Gema Moneo, Fuensanta La Moneta, Paloma Fantova, Pastora Galván, Karime Amaya, and Pepe Torres, whilst also pursuing a solo career as a concert performer.
