Perico el Pañero, José el Pañero and Diego del Morao

The brothers Perico and José “Los Pañeros” are two singers with great personality born in Algeciras into a family linked to singing. Their nicknames come from their grandfather who sold cloth, hence it passed to their father José Lérida Cortés “el Pañero” and from there to the next generation. Undoubtedly, singing comes from their family, especially from their paternal line. Pedro Lérida López, artistically known as Perico el Pañero, is a gypsy singer native to Algeciras. Perico is a unique artist because he is always willing to season his songs with a pinch of dance. He sings and dances. He grabs his jacket to narrate the songs, and he dances bulerías. He is enveloped in natural elegance, always dressed in a suit and with his usual scarf tied around his neck. José el Pañero began singing professionally in 2010, encouraged by friends and family who pushed him to offer his first recitals in clubs and summer flamenco festivals, excelling in festive songs, he also sings and dances. Both will be accompanied on guitar by the brilliant Diego del Morao, which predicts an artistic encounter of many carats.
