Remedios Amaya and Diego del Morao

A gypsy singer with roots from Extremadura. She began singing from a very young age and was one of the favourite singers of Camarón de la Isla, with whom she worked on numerous occasions. Without a doubt, she is one of the best festive singers of all time and one of the most inspired singers of recent decades. After some time away from the stage in 1997, she reappeared with more strength than ever, hand in hand with Vicente Amigo. In fact, her recordings have always had the support of the best flamenco producers: Isidro Muñoz, Vicente Amigo, Ricardo Pachón. Indeed, Remedios has always been considered an “artist of artists”, due to the unanimity and veneration she generates among her professional peers. The Sevillian will appear on the balcony of the town hall, seconded by the brilliant guitar playing of Diego del Morao, to delight the attending public.
