Salomé Pavón and Jerónimo Maya
Salomé Pavón is daughter of the great pianist and composer Arturo Pavón and Luisa Ortega, granddaughter of Manolo Caracol and grandniece of two of the greatest geniuses in the history of singing such as Tomás Pavón and Pastora Pavón, La Niña de los Peines. Her genealogical roots go back to legendary figures like El Planeta or Curro Dulce. Salomé Pavón, representative of the most traditional flamenco, sings in the styles of her family, leaning stylistically towards the Pavón branch, although by fandangos or tientos Caracol style also comes to light. She is a well-known figure among Pamplona aficionados and she returns in this edition to offer her singing from the balcony of Hotel la Perla, accompanied on guitar by Jerónimo Maya - a guitarist who was already a child prodigy at the age of five -. His playing overflows with personality and character, which is why, in addition to being a concert performer, he has accompanied most contemporary flamenco figures.
